Item has three meanings:
The first, historical, is that of the common part of a reference (e.g. fresh green beans France). The distinction is made in the reference to the brand and packaging (Bonduelle - carton 12 boxes 4.25 Kg).
The second is the supplier item (the most common): this is the description of a good sold by a supplier, with its terminology, code, Negociation unit and Packaging unit.
The third is the sales item. This is what you'll find on a restaurant menu. On the restaurant cash register, it has a PLU code and a name. In Adoria, the customer links to a recipe specification, which is the associated recipe. This makes it possible to calculate the theoretical quantities of food used to prepare the items for sale.
