An allocation represents the consumption of a product or recipe (and therefore of several products). Allocations are only possible for consumption destinations marked "inventory". These will be, for example, loss destinations, personnel consumption, etc.
An allocation can only be created for an inventory period which is not yet closed.
If a loss allocation is entered for a past period, it will take the period-end date. If you post to a period including the current day, the posting will be made on the current date.
The allocation can be made to a product (raw product) or to a recipe (finished product). Recipe allocation will be considered as a sum of product allocations proportional to its composition.
For example: A croque monsieur = 2 slices of bread + 10g of white ham + 15g of toastinettes + 5g of béchamel sauce
If I declare 5 croque monsieur lost, I will find the following charges:
10 slices of bread
50g white ham
75g toastinettes
25g béchamel sauce
Most of the time, product allocations are made by Stocking unit, but it is possible on adoria for clients to manage the entry of allocation in multiple units.
